For Lever and Pedal Harp
This piece is a tone poem. A tone poem is a piece of music that illustrates or evokes the content of a non-musical source, in this case, a landscape of nature's grandeur. The sound of open fifths creates a majestic yet mysterious mood. It is in the key of A minor (accessible on lever harps tuned in Eb and C) and there are only two simple lever changes. There are several arpeggios (same pattern / different notes), three harmonics, and 3-note chords (no 4-note chords) in each hand. This piece is suitable for all occasions.
